Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies by Nicole

1/2 cup margarine
1 1/2 cup sugar (splenda)
1 egg
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350.
Wisk the margarine, sugar and eggs into a cream. Add the pumpkin and vanilla.
Blend in all the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
Drop onto cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes.

Apple Maple Turkey Burgers with Maple-Dijon Sauce by Nicole

For Maple-Dijon Sauce:
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons real maple syrup

For Burgers:
1 1/4 pounds ground turkey breast
1/4 cup real bacon bits
1/2 cup chunky applesauce
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
2 tablespoons real maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Hamburger Buns or pitas
Hamburger condiments

Directions:
Set up grill or pan with oil.
For Maple-Dijon Sauce: In a small bowl, stir to combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and 2 tablespoons maple syrup; set aside.
For Turkey Burgers: In a medium bowl, mix together all ingredients for burgers.
Wet hands to prevent sticking and shape into 4 patties.
Place burgers on hot oiled grill or pan for 5 to 7 minutes per side or until done.
Serve on buns or pitas with traditional burger condiments and a dollop of maple-Dijon sauce.

AWESOME Spicy Chicken Dip by Nicole

2lbs of shredded chicken
12oz of Franks hot sauce
16oz of cream cheese
16oz of ranch or blue cheese dressing
8oz shredded cheddar cheese
Bag of Fritos

Cook and shred chicken using 2 forks.
Preheat oven to 350.
In a 9x13 inch pan combine chicken and hot sauce. Spread in pan.
Heat cream cheese and salad dressing. Stir smooth and pour over chicken.
Bake uncovered for 20 min. Add shredded cheese and bake 10 min.
Use the Fritos to dip.

Easy Bisquits & Gravy by Marlene

12 Frozen Buttermilk Bisquits
2 pkgs of Country Gravy mix
1 roll of Jimmy Dean mild Pork sausage
3 c water
2 c milk

Bake frozen bisquits as directed on package. In large pan, brown sausage as you would hamburger. Sprinkle gravy mix over sausage and mix until flour disappears. Add milk and water and let simmer until thick. (if mixture is too thick, more water or milk can be added) Break open bisquits and spoon gravy mixture on top…..ENJOY!!!

Hi Guys! Its Jane. Once I get this figured out I'll post under my own name. Nicole, this is awesome- what a great idea! Great 4th of July pics. And the recipes..mmmm...can't wait to make them! Here's the olive Garden salad: Enjoy! I've made it like 5 more times...

Ingredients

For the dressing:

  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons Miracle Whip
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

For the salad:

  • 1 10-ounce bag American salad blend
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 small pickled peppers, such as pepperoncini
  • 1 small vine-ripened tomato, quartered
  • 2 tablespoons sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup large croutons
  • 1 tablespoon grated

Directions

Combine all the dressing ingredients and 1 to 2 tablespoons water in a blender or food processor; puree until smooth.

Place the salad blend in a large bowl and top with the remaining salad ingredients. Drizzle with the dressing.
